One of these days with drama sky and sunshine out of the blue.
When shooting the black and white scenes of Wings of Desire (Der Himmel über Berlin) Henri Alekan used a special filter handcrafted from a stocking that belonged to his grandmother.
Impossible to compete. I used the Tri-X pan film simulation and a medium yellow filter.
The sky over my hometown is of course not as classy as the one over the capital. Here, we don't have angels with posh names like Cassiel, wearing classy black long coats while sitting on pillars listening to people's sorrows.
More likely their name is Häberle and they are wearing grey blue workshop dust coats while sitting in the tram to Zuffenhausen. But I am sure they listen to people's sorrows just as compassionately.
See if you can spot an angel in the sky over my town.
